Final Announcement

Development of the game has shifted to a new project called LEGENDARY RESISTANCE, https://www.hiveworkshop.com/threads/legendary-resistance.316383/.

Check out the previous in the new Alpha version, currently AI are in the works, all future posts will be on that place, there are no plans for future blog posts.

EXECUTE

                                                    ACUTE SHARPNESS presents

Introducing, hero defense map for 2018, realistic magic and chaos, become a Hero. Which side would you choose? The path of heaven or hell, choose from a list of war-craft characters and many more to come. This development had already began, prepare yourselves... The battle awaits you in the new fight.

Note: Execute is a Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne custom map that can be downloaded for free, you need to purchase Warcraft III: The Reign of Chaos and upgrade it with the expansion pack "Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne" to be able to run the file. To play a custom map in the game, first go to C: drive and search for Warcraft III, copy paste the custom map into the Maps Folder.


Development: 

 - 1st Augest 2018: First alpha version in testing, my work schedule will be estimated along the way but no promises.
 - End Augest 2018: Possible development of Artificial Intelligence for Single Player purposes.
 - 1st September: Version 0.01 should be ready for public testing and uploaded to www.epicwar.com.
 - End September: Beta version should be under development and ready for Version 0.02, balance works will be ready.

New Project

Enjoy this great fight between heroes, 5 versus 5
   I am currently in development of a new project, it will also be a hero style battle custom map. (Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne)
Current stage of progress, with a completed Hero called Paladin (Resurrection, Holy Bolt, Might and ULTIMATE: Divine Shield), including a new wave spawn mechanic. However, this map will not be a typical MOBA (Multi-player Online Battle Arena), it will have a unique game-play involved but it will still be similar in some ways. (5v5 and wave spawns/items).

   Hopefully this project will flourish and continue to shine as new versions are patched upon it. If you have any questions, please feel free to list them in the comments and I will try my best to answer. There is currently no set goal for the release date as it is currently in the early alpha stages. This project is done solely by me and I am also kin in finding a trusty development team, please contact me via acumenknight@gmail.com if you are interested. I will try my best to read the mails.

   Last of all, good luck and have fun playing Defense of Base! I will leave a shout-out before creating a new blog-spot with blogger.com so that you guys can be kept up to date in the months to come.

Final


   Hello everyone, version 4.18A marks the end of this map's development. Please try getting your friends to play the map or organize mini-tournament to spread the fun in others!
   I am hesitant in my next course of actions as time do not allow me to make other development of maps but we will see what is available.
   For questions regards to hosting, please use makemehost.com as the map has already been uploaded to the website. Alternatively you can also try entgaming.net and upload the map yourself.
   For other information please read them in-game by pressing F9 or visit hiveworkshop.com "Maps" forum, search for author "Destiny.Knight"(my old account name).

 - Fixed base gold text issue with Transmute.
 (Meaning that it worked previously as the description says anyway)

 - Fixed gold income issue during revival.

Hiveworkshop: Map Profile

Game: 

 - Troopers' size increased.
 - Melee troops' attack range increased to 1 metre.
 - Outer Towers' size increased slightly.
 - Outer Towers' missile speed increased slightly.
 - Towers' armor increased. 
 - Barrack/Crypt, armor increased.
 - Ziggurat/Farm, armor increased.
 - Bandit spawn stack maximum reduced to 5.
 - Fixed a mysterious issue with Gold Mine.


Items:

 - Basic Tomes and Tome of Experience, start stock delay at 5 minutes instead.
 - Tome of Power start stock delay increased. 
 - Tomes now have slighly slower stock rate.
 - Staff of Teleportation recharge time increased to 45 seconds.
